Who can access support?

Kultivate provides support for young people and adults who may be experiencing social or economic disadvantage or who face barriers that impact their ability to access opportunities, education, development, or wellbeing support.

Our programmes are designed to support individuals who may benefit from additional guidance, mentoring, education, or personal development opportunities.

Support may be available to individuals experiencing circumstances such as:

  • financial hardship or low income,

  • unemployment or risk of unemployment,

  • social exclusion or isolation,

  • barriers to education or training,

  • limited access to opportunities or support networks,

  • reduced confidence, wellbeing, or personal progression.

Priority may be given to individuals facing multiple barriers or those who demonstrate the greatest level of need.

Kultivate is committed to ensuring that support is delivered fairly, respectfully, and inclusively. Selection for programmes is based on need and the potential for individuals to benefit from the support provided.

Individuals may access support through:

  • self-referral,

  • referrals from schools, organisations, or community groups,

  • outreach and community engagement activities.

Where possible, programmes are delivered free of charge or at subsidised rates to help ensure accessibility for those who may otherwise struggle to access support.
