Our trustees are responsible for ensuring that all activities, programmes, and decisions remain aligned with the charity’s objectives and are delivered in the best interests of the individuals and communities we support.

Trustee Oversight

The trustees of Kultivate are responsible for the overall governance, strategic direction, and effective management of the charity.

Trustees oversee:

  • programme delivery

  • safeguarding and risk management

  • financial governance

  • public benefit

  • beneficiary accessibility

  • and organisational accountability

All decisions are made collectively and in accordance with the charity’s governing documents, charitable objectives, and legal duties.

Trustees are committed to ensuring that all activities:

  • deliver clear public benefit,

  • remain accessible and inclusive,

  • support those most in need,

  • and use resources responsibly and effectively.

Safeguarding & Safety

Kultivate places safeguarding and wellbeing at the centre of all activities and decision-making.

We are committed to ensuring that all programmes are delivered in safe, supportive, and appropriate environments for children, young people, adults, volunteers, and staff.

The charity operates safeguarding procedures and promotes:

  • safe programme delivery,

  • appropriate risk management,

  • safeguarding awareness,

  • and responsible working practices.

Where appropriate, participants may also be signposted to specialist or additional support services.
